About Fred Portelli

With over three decades of experience weaving together the worlds of music, photography, videography, Fred Portelli is a London-based Artistic Director and creative individual who knows how to tell a story.

“This workshop isn't just about technical skills and few tips on how to use your phone, it's also an opportunity to unlock your own artistic potential and start creating images that resonate with your soul. With an informal approach we will start exploring the magic art of photography, the powerful tools that our smartphones are, to slowly develop your own photographer’s eye.”

Fred's journey is a testament to the power of artistic evolution. For over 30 years, he's seamlessly woven together creative languages discovering that true communication happens when disciplines intersect. This deep understanding of narrative underpins all of his work, from composing for feature films to curating creative projects and video/photo contents for industry titans like NARS, Generali, Lendlease, Harrod’s, Diageo and more.

As a photographer, Fred's expertise lies in seeing beyond the surface. He connects with the human element in every shot, revealing the real identity of a person or situation. His work is a formal yet intimate exploration of beauty, challenging the viewer to look closer and feel more deeply.

We kindly ask for a £10 deposit to secure your spot – you’ll receive a full refund when you attend, or if you cancel your ticket at least 2 days before the event takes place. If not, your deposit will be donated to our charity partner Magic Breakfast, helping provide nutritious food to children who need it most.
