The Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA) presents the second in a series of new workshops aimed at developing skills for music professionals in Scotland: SMIA Workshops: Live Streaming with Dougal Perman (Inner Ear).
About the Workshop
Do you want to expand your audience, reach more people and create valuable content? Learn about live stream production from the company that’s pioneered the use of streaming media since it launched its internet radio station Radio Magnetic in 2001. Inner Ear has served live content to over half a million people over the last year, covering events like the Scottish Album of the Year Award, World Pipe Band Championships, Glenfiddich Piping and Fiddle Championships, concerts, masterclasses and ceremonies for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, behind the scenes features for Scottish Ballet and much more.
In this workshop you will learn how to plan a production, get an overview of streaming platforms, discuss case studies and brainstorm ideas for your own projects. With hands on opportunity to play with different pieces of kit, this session can help you get started live streaming shows, rehearsals and fan Q&A sessions.
This workshop is free entry to all SMIA members, as are all SMIA workshops throughout 2017. If you are interested in joining the SMIA, please email Robert Kilpatrick for more information – email@example.com
