Course Overview
IAS Academy has partnered with Optident to deliver ortho-restorative education based on successful aligner therapy aimed at General Dental Practitioners.
The Smilers Clear Aligner training course allows you to confidently identify the ideal patients for orthodontic treatment in a simple, predictable and affordable way in one treatment process.
Course Speaker
Dr Tif Qureshi qualified from King's College London in 1992. He is a Past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Tif is the founder and clinical director of IAS Academy, an international faculty that provides mentored education for general dentists on a pathway from appropriate simple to comprehensive orthodontics. Tif has a special interest in simple orthodontics and truly minimally invasive dentistry. An experienced teacher in the Dahl concept, Tif shows how this technique is used to plan tooth alignment and minimise invasive dentistry in developing a beautiful smile.
The aligner course covers all aspects of treatment from diagnosis, assessment, and case evaluation, to fitting and then retention. After this course, attendees will be able to handle simple to moderate cases immediately. It is proven that getting started quickly will help you introduce clear aligners into your practice. You’re supported every step of the way with an online mentoring system, where your cases are checked for suitability, your records are assessed, and assistance can be given at any point through treatment.
Included is access to the mentoring platform, allowing clinicians to post their first case for Suitability Checks, Treatment Plan Discussions and Full Case Support.
