The Scotland Malawi Partnership invites you to join an inspiring, interactive and enjoyable afternoon, engaging with friends old and new who share your passion for Malawi!
This will be a day for SMP members and guests to reflect on two decades of grassroots collaboration. From education and health to climate action and cultural exchange, we’ll explore how personal relationships have driven meaningful change far beyond formal agreements.
Attendees will have the chance to share stories of unexpected outcomes, enduring friendships, and community-led initiatives that have shaped lives and landscapes.
As we celebrate the past, we’ll also acknowledge enduring challenges and look ahead — asking what the next 20 years of partnership could look like, and how we can deepen impact through trust, creativity, and shared values. Whether you’re a long-standing member or new to the network, this is a chance to connect, learn, and contribute to the next chapter of our partnership.
The Annual Gathering will feature:

This year’s SMP AGM will be held during the Annual Gathering. The agenda for the meeting and other relevant documents will be shared with members in due course.
We invite attendees to arrive for registration and coffee at10:30am for a 11:00am start and there will be the opportunity for a networking social with live music at the end of the event between 15:30 and 16:30.
