September is Snacktember!
Learn how to make some simple healthy snacks fit for any family member.
Using some store cupboard favourites and a splash of refrigerated items find out how to make simple, quick, delicious and tasty food. This session helps you to avoid ultra-processed meals and eat healthier at the same time.
This is a friendly relaxed cookery session with lots of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. Suitable for beginners or those looking for some inspiration!
We will also be covering top tips on how to use up your food wisely saving you money with some great food hacks.
The session will start with a quick overview and demo followed by a practical cookery session.
Why not bring a friend? Book them in too!
The course is free for attendees. You must sign up in advance and can only book onto one class in this set of cookery sessions. You must give at least 48hr notice if you are unable to attend, failure to do so will prevent you from applying to other similar sessions.
This session is aimed at Bexley residents or those that live in the Bexley Borough. Residents will be given priority - if you are not a resident you will be placed on the waiting list and emailed 1 week before hand to the time to confirm you have a place.
There are lots of similar events happening across the borough between now and Christmas - visit our new reuse and repair page - https://www.bexley.gov.uk/reduce-reuse-repair - or https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/bexley-reuse-page-4159313 for more information
What to bring
Please bring an apron if you are a messy cook and a couple of reusable containers to bring any cooked food home in. All other ingredients and utensils will be supplied.
Allergies
