Event description
Join members of the King’s Lynn and District Astronomical Society at RSPB Titchwell reserve for an introduction to astrophotography.

About this Event

Photographing the night sky in all its beauty is all about location, location, location. When it comes to astrophotography choosing a dark site with little or no light pollution is paramount. RSPB Titchwell Marsh has been shown to have virtually no light pollution and is the ideal site to capture stunning images of the Milky Way.

Using telescopes and a variety of telephoto lenses you will be shown how to get amazing shots of night landscapes in this introduction to night photography.

We will also have a mini-tour of the reserve, using bat detectors to find pipistrelles and other bat species on the wing and other nocturnal wildlife.

Booking confirmation will be sent via e-mail, please provide a valid email address. We also require a valid landline and mobile phone number to update you on any changes to times or venue or in the event of a cancellation. Thank you for your co-operation.
