Description

We are really excited to inform you of the East of England Children’s and Young People’s Diabetes Network ‘Raise 500’project.

As many of you will be aware The East of England Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network, facilitate lots of activities and education opportunities for children and families with Type 1 Diabetes, including residential camps and day activities. We are supported by Addenbrookes Charitable Trust in subsidising the cost of our events as well as providing financial assistance to low income families to enable them to access our events.

The activities take a lot of time and money to arrange and so we are looking to fund raise so we can continue to deliver such a high standard of experiences for your children and offer places to those families who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend and help subsidise events to keep the cost down to a minimum for all other participants.

We are offering you the chance to join us on the Snowdonia T1 Charity Challenge on the 6th June 2020, Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands, It is located in Snowdonia National Park, Wales. The challenge will be led by qualified mountain guides to ensure all participants are kept safe.

Participants of the Snowdonia T1 Charity Challenge who raise £600+ will be offered a fully funded place for their child on a future Network Camp.
