Clogwyn Mawr ‘A Mini Mountain!
Half day, walk on to rough terrain
How do you fancy standing on top of the smallest mountain in Snowdonia? You can do this, it is an ideal experience for youngsters so children are especially welcome on this walk. Clogwyn Mawr is the shapely peak towering above Capel Curig on its north eastern side. It can easily be ascended and descended in a couple of hours, the views are fabulous, the wind will blow your cobwebs away.
Meet: Tyn y Coed 10.00 am, whilst this is a short walk there are some steep slopes and the ground is rough so walking boots would be preferred. Waterproofs, sadly, may well be required as well. We will return to the village for lunch. Circular walk. Ideal for children. No dogs. Under 16's only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
