Trefriw to Capel Curig, ‘An ancient drover’s route’
Full day, low level walk.
This fabulous walk takes in some wonderful woodland, two sizable lakes and a low col which has a wild mountainous feel; there is a lot to see. It is quite a long way but mostly sheltered from the worst of any weather. This is a good walk to see autumn colours on.
Meet Siabod Café 10.00 a.m. for a mini bus journey to Trefriw. Good tracks lead back to Capel Curig but sound hillwalking boots and decent level of fitness will be required. We should be back at Siabod Café by 4.00 pm. Circular walk. Packed lunch and drinks needed. This would feel like a long walk for young children. No dogs please. Under 16's only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
