The premiere of a new piece of choral music, composed by Holly Marland and people with dementia, celebrating creativity.
The piece will be performed by students from the RNCM, soloists from BBC Daily Service Singers, Jennifer Reid (Broadside Balladeer), Michael Cretu (double bass), Manchester Children's Choir with Christopher Stokes, Golden Voices, Carers Chorus and members of St George's Singers, Poynton, conducted by Sasha Johnson Manning. The performance lasts 60 minutes and will be inclusive and accessible to all, especially people with dementia and their carers.
After the performance (between 8pm and 9pm) there will be the opportunity for informal networking with representatives from organistions working with people with dementia. Light, uplifing background music provided by the charity Music in Hospitals.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no minimum age requirements for this event and we do not require you to bring ID.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are no car parking spaces available at the cathedral. The nearest car park is Q-Park Deansgate North which can be located at 2 Chapel Street, Manchester. Discounts are available if you pre-book. What can I bring into the event?
This is a dementia friendly event. Please bring anything that might make the performance more comfortable for you such as a cushion to sit on and and blanket

What's the refund policy?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer refund on tickets for the event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You will receive your tickets by email. Please print these out and bring them to the event. Alternatively, you can access your tickets via your mobile phone by downloading the Eventbrite app.
