A night out with comedy, connection, sharing inspiration

About this Event

A night out with comedy, connection, sharing inspirational ideas and stories.

This event is a collaboration from inspiring people in our network who are working in innovative projects for positive change in their area - anywhere across Northern Ireland and beyond.

We encourage a diverse range of attendees from all backgrounds, with projects from idea stage to fully established organisations. The purpose is to connect, share, test new ideas and to motivate each other. To relax and enjoy the company of inspiring ‘can-do’ people.

We will kick off with comedian on the theme of "So What?”, then 5 x 5 minute talks along the same theme, from people involved with impressive projects across Northern Ireland. We'll hear about how they started, the bloopers during their project development, what interesting roads these projects have taken them down, and why they are so passionate about their project - their “So What?”

We’ll follow with some speed networking and then the rest of the evening to enjoy refreshments or alcohol will be served at the bar until 11pm.

The Oh Yeah Music Centre, is a charity and social enterprise which aims to open doors to music, to give people affordable rehearsal and performance spaces. Their programmes focus on developing talent, promotion and celebration, industry mentoring, youth development and community outreach, as well as arts and older people projects, music industry incubation, and music tourism and heritage. http://www.ohyeahbelfast.com/2018/

Eden Project communities is a support network of people who are involved or interested in initiatives to make positive change happen in their area. www.edenprojectcommunities.com

Parking

If you can't use public transport to get to get there, the best place to park would be St. Anne's car park, or there's a public car park just at the end of Gordon street which would be free after 6pm. There's also plenty of on-street parking around the city centre, all free after 6pm. If you'd like to get or give a lift, please post a request in the NI Eden Project Community network facebook group.
