This is one of two events designed for local authority officers and members who are new to the NSIP planning regime and wish to learn more about their role within this.
The event is aimed at local planners and other council officers who are working on NSIPs for the first time or preparing for this. Hosted online, it will last around two hours and provide a general introduction to the NSIP planning process explaining how NSIPS differ from local planning applications, what this means for local authorities and how to prepare so that you can ensure your area maximises the potential benefits.
We will make time for questions and discussions, helping you to understand your role and find out more about sources of further information and support.
If you are a local councillor, please register for the accompanying event on 10 October which is designed specifically for locally elected members.
Please note these online workshop are only for officers or members of local planning authorities. Due to limited spaces at the event, we may have to limit numbers attending from individual authorities. If this event is full, please include your details on the waiting list as we will use this as we manage attendance and share outputs from the session.
