This is one of two events designed for local authority officers and members who are new to the NSIP planning regime and wish to learn more about their role within this.
The event is aimed at local councillors in areas where an NSIP has been proposed or may be proposed in the near future. Hosted online, it will last around two hours and provide a general introduction to NSIPs, explaining how NSIPS differ from local planning applications, what this means for local authorities and the process of decision making.
We will make time for questions and discussions, helping you to understand your role and find out more about sources of further information.
If you are a local planner or council officer, please register for the accompanying event on 7th October.
Please note these online workshop are only for officers or members of local planning authorities. If this event is full, please include your details on the waiting list as we will use this as we manage attendance and share outputs from the session.
