We are delighted to present a special edition of SOAK inside the immersive dome at Devonport Market Hall — showcasing bold, experimental performances by Yas Clarke and The Worm, alongside a stunning new 360° film by local motion designers Florian Thamer and Simon Russell (Sun Machine).

What to Expect

• The Thicket by Yas Clarke
  An intricate, rhythmic, and melodic text score composed for four voices performing a cappella. Sometimes narrative, sometimes abstract, this mesmerising work explores the human relationship with its environment through layered harmonies and uncanny soundscapes.
• The Worm: Pantilde
  A fictional, time-travelling narrator created by Mimi Lawrence. Performed live, this low-fi operatic experience blends music, costume, and storytelling, drawing from folk and ritual traditions to conjure an alternative Celtic landscape filled with peasants, supernatural beings, and embodied land masses.
• Immersive 360° Film
  Begin the evening with a new visual experience from Sun Machine, designed to transform the dome into a living, breathing world of light and motion.
