Soca-To-Me invites you Kommunity for the first and only Socacize class in the North East for a full hour of jam packed fitness fun! Socacize blends Caribbean and African dance movements including Twerking, Wining and Skanking to the sweet sounds of Reggae, Dancehall and of course Soca! The class is split into Five sections:-
- Pull Up Warm Up (10m)
- Bunx Up Cardio Warm (15m)
- Twerk & Tone (10m)
- Dance & Wine (15m)
- Wine Down Cool Down (10m)
Socacize is a fast paced class focused on Cardio, Strengths and Toning working the entire body burning 1000 Calories, so prepare to sweat! For this class you will need:-
- A LOT OF WATER
- Dress comfortably. Vest, shorts, leggings nothing that will restrict your movement.
- Trainers (not plimsoles)
- Floor mat (recommended)
- Knee Pads or knee support (recommend)
- Banda (For fun, also useful as a sweat rag)
- Support bandages Wrist/Ankle/Knees (recommended but not essential)
Please note for safety reasons Trainers are a MUST for this class, if trainers do not grip or protect your ankle you are at risk of getting injured, ankle supports are also recommended to be work under trainers if you feel you may need them. If you have any history of knee, back or ankle injury please report them at the beginning of class and be wary if your body doesn't agree with certain exercises so you can be given an alternative exercise.
