About this event
INTEROPen is joining forces with the NHS Transformation Directorate to offer this free*, two-day, hackathon as part of Digital Health Rewired 2022.
This hackathon is for anyone wishing to improve the flow of, and provide secure access to people's information across adult social care settings.
At this first Social Care Hackathon, we are focusing on the following three approaches to tackling FALL PREVENTION:
- Remote Monitoring
- Staff Access & Identity
- Medications Reconciliation
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
If you are an implementation lead, software engineer, developer, product support analyst, implementation consultant, interface manager, or product owner, this is an event for you.
PREPARATION
On 10 February we ran a Learnathon to help provide background and context for this event. Please take some time to catch up on the recording of our Social Care Learnathon Part 1 (the final edit will be published on our YouTube channel). We are also hosting a Pre-Hack Technical Learnathon on Monday 28th February. This event is being designed to signpost resources and provide the technical understanding and preparation needed by software developers and project leads wishing to take part in testing and developing a solution as part of this hackathon. Reserve your place here.
In keeping with INTEROPen values, all interested parties are invited to take part in planning calls via Zoom* to help shape the scope and agenda for the hackathon, and to provide participants with the information to commence their hack plans.
Planning calls for the hackathon are now taking place every Tuesday at 08:30. Zoom details for the planning calls can be found on Ryver**, our collaboration platform, where conversations and links to resources relating to this event will be shared in the Social Care Learn and Hackathon Forum.
MID-HACK DRINKS RECEPTION
On the evening of 15th March, we will be hosting a Drinks Reception for anyone involved in this hackathon wishing to relax after a day of coding and network with peers. Drinks and light food will be provided by the sponsor of this reception, Orion Health.
We look forward to seeing you there!
