Raise a glass with your peers and celebrate social enterprise, young people and spring!
The Social Enterprise Mash Up is all about:
Hear from a social entrepreneur who's been there and done it! David Duke, founder of Street Soccer Scotland, will be joining us to share his inspiring journey, from experiencing homelessness to founding and growing a successful social enterprise that uses football to help create positive change in the lives of socially disadvantaged adults and young people.
Hear from the next generation! A couple of the Beyond the Finish Line challengers will be sharing their journey and experience so far, and where they hope to go next with your support!
The mash up is a platform to allow social entrepreneurs to come together to connect, share stories and pass on their learning to others. Jess Smith from Unltd will also be joining us to tell you about the Spark programme, which allows you to apply for up to £500 to test an idea or run an event that bring social entrepreneurs together to support each other and share skills.
Finding your match
Our Challengers are incredibly enthusiastic, creative and hard-working young people. If you are willing to host a short placement, we would like to match some of you with one of our challengers over the summer months. You’ll get an extra pair of hands, a fresh perspective, and the warm glow of knowing you've helped a young person on their journey to being a successful social entrepreneur. Our Head of Programmes, Laura Smith, will tell you how.

Are you up for a challenge and want a prize? #SEbestlight
The Beyond the finish line challengers are all responding to the challenges that the people of Glasgow gave them, but can YOU respond to our challenge?
We want you to show us your social enterprise in the best light. What that means is entirely up to you, just send us a photo that best represent your social enterprise and you can win a prize on the day! Register to attend the mash up, email your photo to us and share it on Twitter using #SEbestlight. We'll post the photos onto our Facebook page and the one with the most likes will receive a prize on the day!
Spring drinks and light refreshments will be served throughout.
