Event description

Description

Join us at our October Forum to hear inspirational speakers, debate and network.

We'll start off with breakfast and networking, then at 9.15 hear from our speakers, and debate the topics and issues they raise, with networking and further discussion from 11.15...

Founder brand and communications will be a key theme for this session, with an in-depth look at how social founders can harness the positive brand story of being a founder, and balance this with the brand of their organisation to win-win effect. We'll also look at the key stages in a founder journey, and how to prepare for them. Among our speakers we have:

Sarah Corbett - founder of the original and impactful Craftivist Collective. She has built a following of over 40 thousand on social media, alongside a network of tens of thousands of volunteers, fascinating partnerships and campaigns, personal book sales and media. And she is the sole employee!

Dr Hany El-Banna OBE - co-founder of Islamic Relief, the international aid agency now working in over 30 countries and with an income of £130m. His founder story, and his juggling of personal v organisational brand over many years will be fascinating and insightful, and this will be the first time he has spoken out about this issue. Dr El-Banna is also Founder and Chairman of the Muslim Charities Forum and more recently Founder President of The Humanitarian Forum.

There'll be plenty of time for connecting and sharing stories with fellow founders in the room.
