Rylan Holey is responsible for Hootsuite's Global Agency Partner Program in EMEA, supporting agencies as they advise their clients on how social media can revolutionise communications.
At this CIPR Scotland Social in the City evening Rylan will discuss how organisations are riding, and even ducking, waves of social media to become social organisations by thinking big, using meaningful measurement and changing perceptions of social media in business.
He regularly speaks on, and has a firm belief in, the transformative power of social media in enterprise. Rylan sees the future of business having a socially empowered workforce, with social media aligned to core business objectives and treated as an infrastructure.
Prior to Hootsuite, Rylan was a marketer across B2B and B2C. He led digital marketing and social media at the international law firm SJ Berwin and also at Wigmore Hall, the world’s leading chamber music venue.
The Social in the City (SITC) series is designed to offer bite sized insights into social and digital media trends. Our informal sessions combine a great speaker and good company with drinks and nibbles. The night will kick off with networking from 6pm, with our speaker beginning at 6.30pm. There will be a 45 minute presentation with time for questions and answers and networking at the end.
Each SITC event is worth 5 CIPR CPD points
