About this Event

This social media 3 hour workshop will focus on how to build a sociable brand and craft your own social media content strategy. It’s especially designed for small businesses, and start-ups, and blends best-practice examples with tried-and-tested frameworks.

You’ll come away with affordable ideas for manageable content strategies and your own unique sociable brand for your social media channels. This workshop will help you develop your own strategy and focus on making social media really work for your business.

The workshop is split into 2 sessions each with a distinct focus.

Session 1 - Establishing a sociable brand

For businesses to succeed on social media your brand has to be a “sociable brand”. By adding value and building relationships you establish trust with your target audience which can turn people not just into one-time customers but also into loyal brand ambassadors. To do this it’s crucial to share the right content and have the right conversations in the right way on your social media channels. But as a small business it can be hard to know where to start and knowing what to share, what to say and how to say it can be daunting.

In this session -

  • I’ll take you through a tried-and-tested framework for building a sociable brand that combines your brand essence and builds authentic relationships with your customers. Your sociable brand can then guide the rest of your social strategy from using the right hashtags to creating and sharing the right content.

Session 2 - Crafting a content strategy

Content marketing is the new 'normal' on social media with customers expecting this from the brands they interact with. But for brands it’s a challenge to understand what content to share on their social media channels, in what format and for what purpose. For small businesses with limited budgets, finding the time and resources to devote to their content strategy is an added challenge.

In this session -

  • You’ll learn the best-practice for content marketing, how to craft the right content strategy for your brand and will focus on affordable ideas for manageable content strategies

You’ll come away with -

  • Content strategy ideas and a template for working on a content strategy going forward
