Social Local Mobile at IRX
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PDT)
Marston Green, United Kingdom
SoLoMo is 'Social Local Mobile', reflecting the maturity of mobile from a technology and device into a full part of the customer's expectation and experience. Explore as part of the Internet Retailing Expo happening on the 20th of March in Birmingham NEC.
"Social" is important since not only do people speak to other people via their mobile phones, but the use of social media is far greater via mobile devices than via the desktop. "Local" reflects the 'grounding' of the mobile experience in current or chosen locale (via maps, GPS and directories) while "mobile" reflects the everywhere, anytime aspect of customer experience.
From the underlying technology to customer engagement strategies, via vouchering and promotional technical to behavioural insights, this conference will bring SoLoMo to life - and show how we can rapidly adopt and exploit this trend.
From PayPal to Pizza Hut, we have the highest echelon of speakers from leading suppliers and retailers. This Stream is programmed by M-Retailing.net, the Internet Retailing title focusing upon the role of mobile channels and 'mobility' within multichannel retailing.
The Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) is the UK’s largest trade event for online and multichannel retailers. It has 6 conferences, all free to attend, which cover Internet Retailing In-Store, Operations and Logistics, the Customer Journey, International and Cross-Border, Online Merchandising and Social-Local-Mobile.
