Description

This introduction to social media workshop will give you a thorough understanding of how social networks and content marketing can be used to raise awareness and build effective relationships with those you work with.

The Introduction to Social Media workshop covers these topics:

  • Social Media Basics - What is social media and how it can be used to promote your organisation, grow brand awareness and build strong relationships with your clients.

  • Social Media Strategy and Content Planning - We’ll start by looking at your target audience, who they are and where do they hang out. This will help us get a clearer idea of your social media strategy. We’ll look at setting SMART goals and building an integrated social media and content plan for your business.

  • Social Networks - Then we’ll have a look at all the various social networking platforms available and a demonstration on how they work - focusing on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, identifying which channels will be most effective for your organisation.

  • Client Experience and Engagement - Probably the most important part of the whole training. This session will focus on better understanding of how to use social media content to engage with your audience (clients, funders, influencers, partners etc.). Explaining why engagement and relationship building is crucial for the success of your social media marketing efforts and how to gain the trust of your audience.

  • Content Marketing, Blogging and Storytelling - Your social media strategy doesn’t have a chance to succeed without high-quality content. By content, we mean blog posts, videos, podcasts, social media updates, PR articles or guest posts.

  • Social Media Management and Measurement Tools - You will be introduced to some helpful management tools that will allow you to be time-savvy with your social media hours and allow you to control your social media rather than it controlling you.
