Event description
This two hour, interactive course is designed for PMs within general medical or dental practice.

About this event

The course explores the patient perspective and how practices can use this to maximise the benefits gained through use of social media, in particular to inform and refine patient communication and improve service provision. Areas such as the following will be explores:

  • How to respond to patient comments on social media channels (their own, or the practices)
  • What the practice can do if a patient shares their consultation on social media, and how to avoid this occurring
  • How to approach media enquiries
  • How to use feedback to improve service provision/improve the reputation of your practice.

Participants will review risk reduction approaches which can be adopted in response to negative feedback, and will explore strategies to manage a range of challenging scenarios practices can face across personal, practice, patient, NHS and other channels.

This course is led by Kay Grant, risk adviser.

Upon completion, a certificate detailing two hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.

Before booking a place on this course please ensure that you select the correct ticket type. If your practice is in membership with ourselves please choose the member rate.

What's the refund policy?

MDDUS absorb the Eventbrite booking fee when you register, however you will be liable for this fee if you cancel. The fee for this event will be between £4-£6 for this event dependent on your ticket type.

What happens if i cannot access this event due to a technical issue?

Please ensure you have full access to Zoom before booking this course. If you experience technical difficulties in accessing the course you can apply for a refund, however MDDUS are not able to refund the Eventbrite booking fee
