Social media is part of our everyday life; professional and personal. The lines can appear blurred and individuals can become concerned as to how they present themselves online, what they can (should) and can’t (shouldn’t) post,

Beth and Rachael will introduce all the key elements of online personal branding and the social media channels needed for success.

We'll cover:

1. Social media landscape – how we got here, and the trends you really need to care about

2. Channels overview – know your Facebook from your LinkedIn

3. Content best practice - what looks good where, and how to share

4. Personal branding - what it is, how to identify your online self

At the end of the webinar you will have a solid grounding into all things social and personal branding and will help form the basic framework of your online self.

This introductory session will be delivered via Zoom and is open to up to 250 people.

Beth's Biography:

With almost two decades in digital marketing Beth is a trusted digital marketing and social media expert, including for Women in Defence UK. Women in Defence UK. Her work with Women in Defence UK included setting the social strategy and delivering over 4M impressions online for the awards night YoY. Beth now offers strategic and creative services to independent professional service firms via her company BLW. Studio.

Rachael's Biography:

Chartered PR professional, Rachael offers extensive experience in the Public Sector having led high profile marketing teams for many years. She has been instrumental in the growth of Women in Defence UK over the last four years, and now sits on the leadership team and is the communications work package lead for the Women in Defence Charter. Day-today, Rachael operates strategic communications and engagement consultancy Ardesey.
