Description

Generator is pleased to announce our very first Social Media Day, aimed at practitioners. If you're knee-deep in gifs, tweets and filters at work on a daily basis, then you cannot afford to miss this!

We've joined forces with some of the most experienced, innovative and creative minds in social media to bring you a day covering everything from advertising to influencing to Generation Z and everything in between.

Social Media Trends and Generation Z, Lee Peacock - Drummond Central

Born since 1995, Generation Z have grown up in the era of social media. As a byproduct of a life online, the latest generation builds it’s relationships onscreen. They are consumers right now in their own right, but their importance to marketers will only increase over time as they get older, and have more cash. So to succeed authentically on social media, businesses need to be ready to adapt with the flick of a switch. Throughout this session we will explore the biggest social media trends of the moment and how they correlate with Generation Z.

Influencer Marketing, Ellie Silson - Sage UK

Ellie will walk us through influencer marketing and why it’s the next big thing for social marketeers. Learn all about increasing your brands reach through others social media channels, hear practical advice on how to setup an influencer marketing programme, and its benefits to you and your business.

Social Media Advertising That Works, Steve Cole - Colehouse Communications

This session is for people wanting to take their social media game to the next level. Over the years ‘organic reach’ has dwindled, we all know we need to spend money to hit our target market, but how do you do this with confidence? In this session, we will take you through sales funnel focused advertising strategies to help you get trackable ROI and results through your social media advertising.

LinkedIn - Stop Over Thinking It! Laura Middleton - The Office Rocks

"I don't know what to post", "What if no one likes it?", "I can't post that - it's not professional enough", "Who would want to read what I post?"

Laura Middleton of The Office Rocks shares her successes of using Linkedin as a tool to grow her own business and network. She'll be dispelling the myths around what you can and can't post, the etiquette of connection requests and easy ways to leverage your network in order to increase your profile, generate new leads and discover new business opportunities.
