Description

*A new course from Media Trust*

As social media becomes more and more popular, it provides a unique opportunity to reach your audience. Whether your charity wants to raise funds, spread awareness or recruit volunteers, your audience is on social media and so you should be too. With campaigns such as the ice bucket challenge funding ground-breaking research, there is now real evidence that online successes can make a huge difference to charities.

But where do you start? There are so many platforms available and such a vast array of new terminology that it can sometimes seem a little overwhelming. We understand the budget and resource restraints of the charity sector, so we want to help you get the most from social media with this crash course for beginners.

You will learn to:

  • Choose your platforms: learn about a variety of popular platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, and which find out how to decide which ones you should be active on

  • Start using your chosen platforms: find out how to connect with your audiences, familiarise yourself with the basics and discover how to measure your efforts against your goals

  • Create engaging content: take a look some successful campaigns and get inspired with tips and tools

This course is ideal for beginners who need to start with the basics. If you haven’t been using social media as part of your job for very long or want to move your charity towards digital marketing then this is the course for you.

VAT will be charged at 20%

You can book online now with a card or by invoice (see 'other payment options' at the bottom of the next page), or call us on 020 7871 5600.
