Social Media in the role of cultural change
Wed 26 October 2016, 14:00 – 18:30 BST
PurpleSpace invites you to join us as we take a deep-dive into the world of social media as it impacts Disability Employee Networks and Resource Groups.
We take a deep-dive into the world of social media and learn from some of the best disability social media experts. We take a look at the benefits of using social media to drive disability confidence from the inside out and understand the tools of the trade in building an on-line network presence (building Twitter followers, a Facebook page and on-line networking platforms).
Through case studies, we explore which employers are doing this to best effect and the pitfalls to avoid. We will examine the business case and how to make it easy for your organisation to dip into social media to develop #ourdisabilityconfidence - how we can help employees to be who they are, and be their best brilliant selves through the skilled use of social media.
‘Virtually Purple’, our new PurpleSpace ‘how-to’ publication about social media for disability networks / resource groups will be launched.
Presentations and input from experienced social media practitioners and network leaders as well as round-table discussions and plenary. The event will conclude with networking drinks and nibbles.
