Event description
This session will provide tools, techniques & reflection, for you to learn alongside your child when navigating the digital world.

About this event

How do we learn to navigate our own and our children’s experiences in the immediate forum of social media?

This interactive session will take a non-judgemental look at how our children (and us) are engaging with social media. There will be space for you to explore and develop ideas for communication, learning and connection with your child, and how you can support their inevitable participation in this ever-changing medium.

The workshop will combine the latest research and insights that will help you to understand how we engage on social channels, while the practical, creative exercises and discussion will support you with developing strategies which will work for you and your family.

Covid Measures during the workshop:

All measures possible will be take to ensure the safety of participants, however by attending, participants take responsibility for their own risk. Wearing masks is optional, we will make space for social distancing during group work so that all participants can enjoy the workshop to their level of comfort.

The facilitators will take a Lateral Flow test on the morning of the workshop and encourage all participants to do the same. We will ask for windows to be open in the setting if possible.
