Using social media successfully is crucial to any tourism business – creating content, engaging audience, attracting great reviews and finding new customers all helps build business. Using social media also allows you to network and work with other local tourism businesses easily to support destination profile and growth.
Aims & Objectives
Your customers expect to be able to communicate with you easily and using social media. They also expect to be able to “study” your business before they use it. This workshop will be an overview and is for those of you who are at the early stages of using social media platforms for your business and will help you understand what to use, how to make a start and how social media links into all your marketing & communications activities.
This workshop is facilitated by Emily Whitehead who, not only ran her own successful tourism business for 7 years in Staffordshire, but also has a wealth of experience using social media and training spanning some 15 years. The workshop will be dynamic and fun with plenty of opportunity to interact and network with your fellow delegates.
