> This is aimed at beginners and is especially useful for those who are thinking about using Instagram or who have recently set up a profile and don’t know what to do next.
> It will not cover advanced functionality such as Instagram Reels or Lives, Instagram Shopping features, content creation tools or content strategy and planning.

- To raise the profile of the organisation and raise awareness with existing fans, volunteers, advocates, sponsors as well as find new ones and other interested parties.

You’ll leave the session with:
- An improved understanding of the functionality of Instagram.
- Knowledge of how to create a brilliant bio and how to get going with grid posts, captions, photography and hashtags. We’ll also cover the best times to post for the CV sector.
- Some best practices to get your volunteers, donors and followers onside.
Before the session, please:
> Download the Instagram app onto your mobile phone.
> Set up an Instagram Account, if you have not yet done so, with your chosen handle. Make sure you add the category 'Non-Profit organisation' which will unlock some useful features.
This is an interactive online course. We would encourage all participants to have their camera on. The session is planned to take place on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to all participants via email before the date of the session.
