Event description

Description

Nairn Connects, in association with Tuminds Social Media, is delighted to bring a FREE workshop to the businesses of Nairn.

Nairn Connects Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking to support and grow the local economy and this event is the first, of which we hope there will be many, to help improve and support our local infrastructure.

There are a few ideas which Nairn Connects BID could consider to develop our beautiful town and you can read more about those and the BID itself at www.nairnconnects.com

We invite you to take part in our first event to help you develop your social media skills.

Social media is growing and forever changing and has become the most reactive and inclusive way of communicating, sharing and doing business. Each day, more people and organisations are engaging with social media and discovering how exciting, energetic, mobile and inclusive this area of digital communication can be, without being overly complex and time consuming.

This interactive session will be delivered by Rene Looper of Tuminds Social Media, who has been delivering social media training and consultancy for over 10 years. Rene will demonstrate how to make the best use of the different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest, and how you can reach new customers and raise awareness of your business. Using the right tools, Rene will also show you how you can manage your social media activity in an efficient way without spending too much time on it.

When used successfully, social media can be an effective, and relatively low-cost, way of finding new customers, increasing brand awareness and increasing "word of mouth" marketing!
