On the evening of Wednesday 17th September, the College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries will host an outdoor film screening for new students - in a large marquee in the grounds of the Harrow Campus.

This year we will be turning the clock back to 1985, for a screening of 80's cult classic 'The Goonies'. Join us from 18:00 for an 1985 themed playlist to get us in the mood!

Registering for the Event

You will need to register in advance via Eventbrite if you wish to attend. Tickets are limited to one per person and will close at 17:30 on the day of the event. The event is open to current or new students within the College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries, Westminster Business School and Liberal Arts and Sciences only - as well as a limited number of places for College academic staff . Guests are not permitted - please ensure you register for the correct ticket type.

Refreshments

The University will be providing one free soft or alcoholic drink and a choice of snack for the first 300 attendees , as well as a paid bar during the screening. You will be given a voucher on arrival - and please be careful not to lose this, as unfortunately we cannot issue replacements.

The gates will open at 18:00, with the bar beginning at that point and running until just after the start of the film. The screening will take place after sundown, which means the film will start at approximately 18:30 - 18:45, finishing around 21:00

If you have specific access requirements, please do let us know so we can ensure these can be accommodated.

Please also remember to bring something warm - a jumper or coat - just in case it gets a bit chilly when the sun goes down!

We will share the location of the screening with all registered attendees shortly before the event and a reminder will be sent around after ticket sales close - at 5pm on Monday 15th September - or when capacity is reached. The closest tube station to the campus is Northwick Park Station.
