Social Pedagogy Event 2017: ‘Creativity in Relationship Based Practice: Met...
Wed 29 March 2017, 09:45 – 15:00 BST
This is a free event hosted at Queens University Belfast annually that is multi-disciplinary (social work, social care, youth work, family therapy) and includes individuals from practice, academics and students. The focus of the day is to experience and explore innovative methods, skills and techniques to connect with children and young people using social pedagogy and 'relationship' as the overarching paradigm. We have local speakers from the voluntary and statutory sector as well as colleagues from Norway, who provide an opportunity to observe effective methods and commonalities in practice techniques. In previous years, the feedback has been very powerful with many students, practitioners and academic staff providing positive comments about the day. We invite you to join us this year and share the agenda of the day as below. Please register details to confirm a place. For enquiries please contact Dr Paula McFadden firstname.lastname@example.org or Professor John Pinkerton email@example.com
