Social & Policy Sciences Graduation Reception 2022

We are delighted to confirm that the Department of Social & Policy Sciences Graduation Reception will be held on Wednesday 20th July 2022 from 16:30-18:00, in the large marquee (marquee 2) in Green Park central Bath.

This event will be held after your Graduation Ceremony (Ceremony 7) which will take place at the Bath Abbey at 15:00. The reception venue is only a short walk from the Abbey. Please be aware that accepting the reception invitation does not guarantee you a place at the Graduation Ceremony itself - you will still need to respond to the separate ceremony invitation that will be sent to you in due course by the University Graduation Team. Please contact graduation@bath.ac.uk for all queries regarding your ceremony as this is a different event that is not organised by Departments.

All 2022 graduates are invited to attend this event. Due to limited capacity, graduates are guaranteed 3 guest tickets each at present. You can reserve your ticket and up to 3 guest tickets (4 tickets in total) now via this Eventbrite booking, however if you would like to request more guest tickets, please contact Alison Borgelin on sssasw@bath.ac.uk. The deadline to reserve tickets will be Wednesday 6th July 2022.

Bubbles, soft drinks, and cakes will be provided throughout the event. Please contact Alison Borgelin at sssasw@bath.ac.uk with any dietary requirements. Toilets will be provided and parking is available in Sainsbury's Car Park or the Green Park car park (please do check any parking restrictions).

Speeches and prize giving are likely to take place from 17:00 followed by group photos with Penguin Photography.

This is a FREE event that is funded by the Department. Please note only SPS graduates and staff will be able to reserve tickets via this Eventbrite.
