About this event

This session will run for 1.5hrs and cover updates and discussion around themes of your choosing and run every 6 weeks. Group sizes will sit at a maximum of 15 people and will be organised with managers in areas nearer to you if demand exceeds this number.

Who should attend? - Managers of SPLWs that are feeling the need to connect with others doing a similar role and have questions buzzing around about their role and how to approach their work. It is more likely to be useful for those that have a team of SPLWs though open to all.

How do I access the session? - The session will be an online session through Microsoft Teams, please register and add to your calendar - the joining instructions will be on the ticket.

I have more questions about the session or would like to get more involved in delivering - how do I get in touch? - Any ideas you have for the sessions, or an SP Managers Network more broadly - please do not hesitate to drop me a line - lianna.martin@bbbc.org.uk

Organiser Bromley by Bow Centre

Organiser of Social Prescribing Service Manager Peer Support

The Bromley by Bow Centre is an innovative community organisation in east London, working in one of the most deprived boroughs in the UK. Each week we support families, young people and adults to learn new skills, improve their health and wellbeing, find employment and develop the confidence to achieve their goals and transform their lives. At the core of the Centre’s thinking is our belief in people and their capacity to achieve amazing things.

The Insights Team works across the Bromley by Bow Centre and Bromley by Bow Health Partnership to support the development and sharing of the Centre's principles, model and learning through developing research, supporting innovation and sharing our knowledge nationwide. We work closely with our services, partners and local people to inform the development and evaluation of effective, community led initiatives that empower and build a vibrant, cohesive and healthy community.
