Social Shorts Cymru - Maximising the impact of user generated content

Student recruitment in the higher education sector is more competitive than ever, so how can a university separate itself from its competitors and attract new students? In 2016, Cardiff Metropolitan University used its own students and graduates to tell its story across a range of channels, centred around a student blog. The activity successfully increased offer acceptances as a result, and picked up silver for Best Education Campaign and gold for Best Low Budget Campaign at this year's PRide Cymru awards. Ben Lee, Marketing and CRM Manager at Cardiff Met, will explain the strategy used, sharing tips and tricks on what worked and why.
