Principality Stadium: launching a sponsorship in the age of social media
In September 2015, Principality Building Society and the WRU announced to the press that they had entered a new ten year partnership which will help encourage, develop and grow Wales’ national game at all levels, marked by the renaming of the national stadium of Wales to Principality Stadium in January 2016. This had quite an impact on social media and Louise will take you through Principality's social strategic and campaign planning; the reaction; what happened next; and lessons learnt.
Louise has been Social Media Coordinator for Principality Building Society since 2013 and she manages the organisation’s social media accounts from a monitoring, content and campaign perspective. She has also developed Principality’s social media strategy, staff policy and delivered staff training and guidance.
