Social Summer: Twitter
Event Information
About this event
This month’s speaker is Eduard Chilcos, Digital Insights Consultant at Bottle PR. Eduard lives in Littlemore, although he was born in Romania in a town a mere 18 miles from Dracula’s Castle, and he claims he can singlehandedly put away two large pepperoni pizzas in one sitting (a feat that sounds to us both impressive and horrifying in equal measure).
He'll be helping us see the big picture of Twitter (who tends to use it, how, and why; what kind of goals it's good for; how it can sit alongside other platforms in our social strategy, etc) as well as delve down into the detail. So we'll look at things like the best-performing types of content, how to plan who to target, how to accurately measure your reach and engagement, and even a bit of intel on how the platform itself is set to develop. Plus he'll be making everything as tangible as possible with examples and case studies from a mix of brands Bottle have done Twitter campaigns for in recent years, as well as showing how the agency uses the channel for their own marketing.

Our Social Summer series is also covering TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn - so check out the other events on our organiser page 👇 if you want to up your game on those platforms too!

How our gatherings tend to go
6pm: Doors open for (free) drinks, marketing chit-chat, and - let's face it - probably at least some small talk about the weather
6.15-7.15pm: A brilliant marketing talk from a knowledgeable and interesting human, plus some Q&A and informal group discussion
7.15-7.30pm: It’s GUS time (that’s Genuinely Useful Shit)
7.30-8pm: More (still free) drinks and fun chat (hopefully about more interesting stuff than the weather by this point)
Hosted by local brand voice crafter Bethany Joy, in partnership with wonderfully-lovely HR and talent specialists Pink Giraffe and the fantastic Oxford College of Marketing.
*Tickets are free (the best flavour) but it's still super helpful if you book one, so we've got a rough idea of who's coming on the night. Hope to see you there :)
