Event Information
About this event
What's it all about?
Social value is increasing in importance in all public sector contract opportunities. In the National Procurement Policy Statement published this year the Government has clearly set out how all contracting organisations should embed social value in procurement.
Developing your social value approach is key to successful tendering for public sector contracts.
Our introductory session will provide you with an overview of social value and practical hints and tips on how to develop social value in your submissions:
- What is social value and what does it mean for your business?
- Where are businesses already delivering social value but not recognising it?
- Hints and tips on developing social value in your business
This is an interactive online session and you will be able to ask questions both prior to the event and during it.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in doing business with the public sector.
Who's delivering the event?
Our event will be led by Garry Stone, Director of B2B North. Garry has helped businesses of all types and size win millions of pounds of contracts and tenders across the region. As a business owner Garry understands the challenges and issues from a practical perspective.
