Event description
The NEPO Business Club has moved online to support North East businesses planning for the recovery phase of COVID-19.

About this Event

Following the implementation of the Social Value Act (2012) and recent developments in procurement processes, developing social value in your business is quickly becoming key to successful tendering for public sector contracts.

This online update session will provide you with current thinking on social value in procurement and the opportunity to discuss the impact that COVID-19 may have on future social value development. The session will provide approaches to understanding social value in times of uncertainty;

-  How to understand the changing social value agenda

- What this means, and practical steps to help you gain an edge when tendering

- Trends from outside the North East

-  What impact will COVID-19 have on social value in procurement?

The webinar will be hosted by Sinéad Moloney of NEPO and will be led by Garry Stone, Director of B2B North. Garry has helped businesses of all types and size secure their share of millions of pounds of contracts and tenders across the region, and understands the challenges and issues from a real-life, practical perspective.

This is an interactive online session and you will be able to ask questions both prior to the event and during it.

Who should attend?  This event will benefit suppliers of all sizes currently thinking about social value and how to incorporate it into their business in the context of COVID-19.
