Social Value Procurement - Suppliers

Since the introduction of the Social Value Act in 2012 public spending has increasingly become a driver of social and environmental outcomes in communities across the UK.

Unity Ventures have invited leading social value procurement agency Supply Change to deliver a short series of events designed to accelerate the opportunities of social value procurement in the Hastings area.

In this workshop you will be given a guide to engaging with and winning public sector contracts for your social enterprise or charity.

• Overview of the public sector

• Policy context and motivation for public sector buyers to procure from social enterprises

• Practical tips on how to access contract opportunities and engage with public sector clients as early as possible
