What is it? A walking weekend for adult members. You can take part in shorter or longer walks exploring this beautiful area. There will be opportunities for informal training for those new to hill walking and logbook walks for those working on or renewing their Level 2 walking qualification. These walkers will practice navigation and other skills with experienced hillwalkers on hand to assist if wished.

What are the timings? You can arrive at the hostel any time from 5pm on Friday evening. We'll need to leave the hostel by 10am on Sunday but there will be a range of walks finishing at slightly different points in the afternoon.

Who is it for? Any adult member over 18 years old. If leaders would like to offer this opportunity to Rangers, please contact Verity to discuss options using the nearby campsite, Brow farm.

Other Information:

Transport is not included in the cost of the event and attendees will need to make their own travel arrangements.

Accommodation is arranged in shared rooms. Parking at the hostel is free and there is free WiFi in social spaces.
