A conference of ideas and discussion on the future and importance of social housing in Wales, hosted by UNISON Cymru Wales.

Guest speakers so far include:

Carl Sargeant AM, Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children, Welsh Government.

Brian Robson, lead for housing policy and research, The Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

With special contributions also from leading housing campaigners, organisations, writers and workers, this conference will feature a series of inclusive panel dicussions on the following areas:

  • The state of social housing in Wales and the UK: Where are we and how do we secure quality social housing in the future?
  • The role of tenants and workers in campaigning for housing justice.
  • A matter of life or death: why social housing matters.

A free lunch will be provided as well as refreshments throughout the day.

We welcome all delegates who work, live and are involved in social housing.
