Society & Careers Partnership Event - University of Manchester
Thu 27 October 2016, 17:00 – 18:00 BST
At The Careers Service, we have noticed an increase in the number of committee posts within societies which look after careers/employability. We want to see how we can help all of our societies with this and work with you to ensure we are providing the best service - whether you have a post with an employability remit or not.
Come along to our Society & Careers Partnership event for:
- tips and advice on how to turn the skills you’re building in your society into things that you can add to your CV;
- an opportunity to let us know how we can help you (and your members) when it comes to careers and employability;
- get to know members of The Careers Service in each Faculty;
- meet members of other societies and hear about what they do to increase their members’ employability.
This is an informal session for society presidents and/or committee members – especially those responsible for employability – to meet with Careers Consultants and colleagues. The first hour will feature a brief introduction and Q&A session, with the opportunity to network and ask questions 1-1 afterwards.
Food and drink will be provided, so please register to attend so that we have an idea of how many to expect on the day.
We look forward to meeting you there,
Your Careers Service
