Event description

The Society for Museum Archaeology Annual Conference 2016 will take place at The Hive, Worcester on 3rd and 4th November. It offers an opportunity to network with colleagues while hearing about, and discussing, the latest developments in museum archaeology. This year's theme is 'A World of Archaeology: from local to global'.

Attending the whole conference includes all the talks, refreshments and conference dinner. There are options for attending on just one day too. Fees are discounted for SMA members, early bird booking (SMA members only) and students or unwaged delegates.

If you require an invoice, rather than booking through Eventbrite please contact our Treasurer directly on We normally ask for an official purchase order before sending the invoice.

Why not join us for the FREE pre-conference fieldtrip on Thursday morning? Just select it as an additional item on the payment page so we know to expect you.

If you intend to join us for the conference dinner (included in 'Whole conference' tickets and 'Thursday only' tickets), please select it as an additional item on the payment page so we can gauge numbers and contact you to ask for your menu choices.
