A cranky teacher at a New England Prep school is tasked with babysitting a few stray students with nowhere to go during the Christmas break. As Christmas draws closer, he forms an unexpected bond with a smart but troublesome young boy and the school’s head cook who just lost her son in the Vietnam War. This unlikely trio provides support and compassion for one another over the cold and lonely winter break in this Oscar winning film from 2024.
