Soft Landings ☁️
A Winter Solstice Gathering, open to all

📅 Sunday 14th December, 10:30 - 13:15

📍Bristol School of Yoga (Studio 16), BS2 8QW

As the longest night descends, we gather to honour the quiet turning of the Earth — a soft invitation to slow down, to breathe, and to arrive gently within ourselves.

We’ll begin with a tender, fluid flow — movements like waves, easing the body into presence and softening what the year has held. After a nourishing break for food, we’ll gather in a candlelit circle for mindful tea meditation, journalling, card pulling, and intention setting — creating space for quiet reflection and inner clarity as we cross the threshold of the solstice.

We’ll close with soothing breathwork, as a quiet weaving of renewal and peace — sealing our practice in stillness.

Come just as you are. Bring a pen, a journal, and warm layers.

Let this be your soft landing — a return to simplicity, to breath, to the quiet heart of winter.

Wen Yee Kok

Wen is a Malaysian Chinese yoga sharer, wellness facilitator and creative based in Bristol, UK. Yoga first came into Wen’s life 18 years ago through physical poses (asanas), where her goal back then was to improve her flexibility for cheerleading. That was when she discovered yoga is not just a workout, but a work-in.

Since then, she lives life as a ritual, led from the wisdom of yoga. To her, yoga is not just something we do – it’s a way of being, feeling and living, where we carry the values beyond the mat, weaving them into the vessels of everyday life.

Over the past seven years, her approach to sharing yoga has evolved, shaped by her own sadhana and interest in Prana Vinyasa, Somatics, Daoism, Qi Gong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Non-Dual Philosophy, Bhakti Yoga, and living in rhythm with nature. Wen’s classes unfold as a journey to return home – intentional and progressive, woven with stories and embodied the elements of nature.
