On Thursday 15 December, UK singer/songwriter, Michael Armstrong steps into Yamaha Music London to headline the final SoHoHo Christmas Session before Christmas.
Since releasing his self-entitled debut album, ‘Michael Armstrong’ in 2015, Michael songs have been played on radio stations globally. He’s performed to tens of thousands of fans across the UK and Western Europe and has appeared on national and international TV and has a massed a growing army of fans, including some very famous names; including Sir Paul McCartney who’s proclaimed Michael as a ‘Rock Star!’ and Sir Cliff Richard who stated, “He’s just too good!”
Whether it’s with his incredible band or one of his intimate and mesmerising solo shows, Michael’s performances are a thing to behold. His constant touring schedule has seen him travel across Europe both in his own right and as very special guest to the likes of Leo Sayer, Vonda Shepard, Beverley Craven, T’Pau and Dean Friedman.
Michael has just returned to the studio to start work on the follow up album, which promises to have another stellar cast of names as well as his signature song writing craftsmanship. The release is expected in summer 2017 and will coincide with a UK headline tour.
This December sees the release of a very special song entitled ‘Little Girl (Bells Of Christmas)’, which was written by the 1960’s owner of Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club and has remained unheard for close to 50 years.
