About the Venue

Fordhall Organic Farm based in North Shropshire has been chemical free for over 75 years. Now owned by the community and run by tenant farmer, Ben Hollins, Fordhall is registered both with the Soil Association and the Pasture Fed Association. Most livestock are outwintered on permanent pastures with a species mix of 70+ plant varieties and trees, following the foresight of the late Arthur Hollins who developed the Foggage Farming system onsite.

Niels Corfield Biog

Niels Corfield has been working to deliver truly sustainable food and farming systems for more than 15 years. He is a researcher, adviser, educator, designer and tree nurseryman.

He has 12 years’ experience teaching adults and is formally trained in Holistic Management and Regenerative Agriculture Design.

On a mission to create regenerative landscapes and farms in the UK and Europe, Niels focuses on agroecological systems that are low maintenance yet productive.
