Soil Workshop at Loveland

Join us at Loveland where we will have a tour with the growers and Jake from Symbiosis Soil Lab. We will discuss about the importance of soil health and collect some soil samples.

Then we will go to St Gluvias Hall in Penryn (10min walk) together for a presentation on soil ecology, followed by a microscope session where we will look at soil and compost samples under the microscope.

We will discuss soil ecology, ecological succession, soil food web and suggest some practical ideas for use at home and on the farm.

Please wear lots of layers and bring waterproofs as the weather can be unpredictable.

Warm drinks will be provided in the hall before the presentation.
